Recently renovated, the Merrijig Public Hall  is the centre of community life in Merrijig. Officially re-opened in July 2009, the new hall, with its excellent kitchen, is proving very popular with people seeking a venue for  birthday celebrations, dances, wedding receptions, Christmas break-ups, luncheons, exercise classes, craft sessions and team building personal development programs.

Pictured above is a recent gathering of a Probus Group enjoying a delightful lunch provided for by the Merrijig Public Hall Committee.

One of the popular uses made of the hall is the weekly meeting of the Unfinished Objects Group. This is where you can spend some time for yourself, enjoy the company of like-minded community members and the added bonus - complete some unfinished work that may have been in a bag in a cupboard for years!!
